About the WSLCB
Following Prohibition, the WSLCB was created in 1933. Our mission is to promote public safety by preventing the misuse of alcohol and tobacco through controlled retail and wholesale distribution, licensing, regulation, enforcement and education. Today, the WSLCB employs about 1,350 full and part-time employees statewide.
